Using Frames in Noteey

Frames are a powerful feature in Noteey that help you group and organize content efficiently on the canvas. This guide will walk you through creating and managing frames, as well as their special role in presentation mode.

Creating a Frame

To create a frame:

  1. Click the Frame icon in the top toolbar.
  2. A frame will be added to the canvas.

Managing Content in Frames

Frames allow you to organize various content types seamlessly. You can:

  • Drag cards, images, PDFs, videos, and other elements into a frame.
  • Move the frame, and all its contained elements will move together.

Customizing Frames

Frames offer several customization options:

  • Resize the frame by dragging its edges.
  • Adjust the aspect ratio as needed.
  • Change the frame’s color.
  • Edit the frame’s title.

The left sidebar in the project displays a list of all frames on the current canvas. Clicking a frame in this list will automatically navigate the canvas to its position.

Using Frames in Presentation Mode

Frames play a crucial role in presentation mode:

  • When "Frame" is selected as the presentation mode, Noteey will sequentially display the frame contents on the canvas.
  • The order follows the arrangement of frames in the left sidebar. Therefore, reordering the frames on the left sidebar also means that the order of the demos will also change.

By using frames effectively, you can better organize visually in your Noteey projects, especially when there are a lot of elements on the canvas
