Backup and Restore

Save as local copy​

You can export the project as a local copy, with the file format being .pcanvasx (Portable Canvas File).

You can send the local copy to your friends, who can open and edit it using Noteey, just like .ppt files in PowerPoint and .psd files in Photoshop. present

Database backup​

A database backup includes data like cards, whiteboards, and tags, but does not include file content.

When auto-backup is enabled, the system will automatically create a backup file every six hours. You can also manually back up the database and save the backup file on your computer.

Restoring from a database backup will recover all data except the files.

Full backup​

A full backup includes project data, cards, and all file content.

You can manually create a global backup at any time to save all client data to your computer.

Restoring from a full backup will recover all data from the entire client.
