Is my data secure?
Yes, Noteey can run completely offline, and you don't need to log in to use it. We don't upload any data to our servers. However, if you use the web publishing service, your notes will be stored on AWS servers in the US. Your data is encrypted both during storage and transmission.

Your data is stored on your own computer.

Troubleshooting
The most common solution to issues is restarting the application, which resolves 99% of problems. For persistent issues, paid users can report them in the VIP WeChat group. Free users should email hello@noteey.com.

Unable to log in to the client after payment?
Solution 1: Log in again and reopen the app.
Solution 2: Use Chrome browser.

Does Desktop Pro include future mobile apps? Does it support third-party cloud sync like iCloud or Google Drive?
Desktop Pro is a perpetual license for the native app only.
The mobile app can be used offline for free but doesn't support third-party syncing (due to uncontrollable factors and limited development resources).
In the future, we'll introduce a subscription-based Premium plan supporting web app and cross-device syncing using our own cloud service.

How can Desktop Pro users sync content across different devices?
Cross-device synchronization is not currently supported. However, you can transfer and sync content between devices by exporting and importing local copies.

Can Desktop Pro Plus be unbound from a device?
Yes, it supports unbinding. Click View license > right-click menu > Remove device.
